Following night one on Saturday, April 1, WWE returned to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday, April 2 for night two of WrestleMania 39.

The show was capped off by the Undisputed WWE Univeral Title match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes as The American Nightmare looked to finish his story. Elsewhere, Brood Edge and Demon Finn Balor clashed inside Hell in a Cell, while Omos and Brock Lesnar clashed in the opener.

Check out the full results from WrestleMania 39 night two below:

Brock Lesnar def. Omos

A clash of the titans opened WrestleMania 39 night two as Brock Lesnar went one-on-one with Omos. The Beast Incarnate tried to take down Omos with shoulder tackles in the early going but Omos simply threw Lesnar out of the way before taking him down with two Powerslams. Clubbing blows from Omos followed before he locked in the Bearhug.

After some more punishment, Lesnar broke free from another Bearhug, only to be flattened by a Chokeslam for a near fall. Omos went for a Stinger Splash soon after but crashed and burned into the turnbuckle, with Lesnar taking advantage by taking Omos to Suplex City.

Lesnar tried to get Omos up for the F5 but his back gave out. Omos went for his finisher but Brock avoided it and connected with the F5 at the second time of asking. He then covered The Nigerian Giant for the 1-2-3 and another win on the grandest stage of them all.

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler def. Shotzi & Natalya, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville

Similar to night one, a Showcase Match went on second, this time for the women as Ronda Rousey made her in-ring return alongside Shayna Baszler to take on Natalya & Shotzi, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville.

Each woman had the opportunity to shine in the early going except for Chelsea Green, who was dominated by a range of opponents. The first big spot featured Rodriguez, Natalya, and Liv Morgan hitting a Triple Powerbomb on Shayna Baszler. A Suicide Dive from Shotzi followed soon after before Chelsea Green hit a dive to the outside as she looked to run away from Rodriguez.

Rodriguez then used Liv Morgan as a weapon, sending her tag team partner flying to the outside with a Powerbomb to take out everyone else in the match. Back in the ring, Rodriguez went for the Chingona Bomb on Shotzi but she was chopped down by Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green before she could connect with the finisher. Deville and Green then worked to send Rodriguez crashing out of the match. Hart Attack from Natalya and Shotzi to Sonya Deville then followed before a Double Sharpshooter from Natalya on Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green. Liv Morgan broke up the submission with a Codebreaker. Liv Morgan then hit a Codebreaker and Oblivion on Shotzi but Shayna Baszler tagged in. A hobbling Baszler then tagged in Rousey who applied the Armbar on Shotzi for the submission victory.

After the match, Baszler and Rousey made a belt motion, signalling they want to challenge Becky Lynch and Lita for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Next, Bobby Lashley appeared to show off his Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy. Poor Bobby didn't have a match at WrestleMania this year, however.

GUNTHER (c) def. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus - Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship

In a match sponsored by lemonade, GUNTHER defended the Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

After an initial staredown, Drew McIntyre decked GUNTHER with a Shotgun Dropkick before the Banger Bros proceeded to batter each other. After GUNTHER re-entered the ring, the Intercontinental Champion destroyed Sheamus with Chops, leaving the former WWE Champion with a horribly red chest. GUNTHER next battered Drew McIntyre with Chop after Chop before McIntyre fired back with Chops of his own. Throat Thrusts from GUNTHER followed with all three men in the ring before more chops from GUNTHER to both of his opponents. Sheamus caught GUNTHER soon after, though, and the Banger Bros worked together to combine for a 10 Beats of the Bodhran-Chop beat down.

10 Beats of the Bodhran then followed from Sheamus to Drew McIntyre. GUNTHER scored a near fall soon after following a brutal Clothesline. Drew McIntyre later connected with the Futureshock DDT after using Sheamus as a weapon and he went for the Claymore but GUNTHER ducked and followed up with the Shotgun Dropkick and Powerbomb but the two-time WWE Champion kicked out. GUNTHER then went for his Splash but Sheamus stopped him in his tracks and hit an Avalance White Noise. The Celtic Warrior followed up with the Celtic Cross for a close near fall and next locked in the Cloverleaf. GUNTHER made his way to the ropes but it was no DQ and Sheamus dragged him back into the centre of the ring. McIntyre broke up the submission with a Sleeper and after it broke down, Sheamus took out McIntyre with a Jumping Knee.

Sheamus then connected with the Brogue Kick and had the match won but Drew McIntyre dragged him off GUNTHER before the referee could count to three. After a brawl, McIntyre fired back with a Senton Bomb over the top rope to the outside! McIntyre then went for the Claymore, only for Sheamus to counter with a Brogue Kick. Everyone inside SoFi Stadium thought that was it but McIntyre managed to get his shoulder up at two!

After more back-and-forth action, McIntyre hit a Claymore to Sheamus for another near fall. After they got back to their feet, Sheamus and McIntyre battered each other some more and Sheamus had the match won, only for GUNTHER to take out both men with a Splash before a Powerbomb to Sheamus onto Drew McIntyre.

With Sheamus taken out, GUNTHER decked Drew McIntyre with a Powerbomb to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

Bianca Belair (c) def. Asuka - Raw Women's Championship

The Raw Women's Title was on the line next at WrestleMania 39 and Bianca Belair went straight after Asuka, taking out the challenger with a Dropkick to begin the match before she dominated the opening moments. Asuka fought back soon after and tried to lock in a Triangle and failed but she did manage to apply the Asuka Lock. Bianca Belair managed to escape and spilled to the outside before the Raw Women's Champion demolished Asuka with a Gut Wrench Sit-Out Powerbomb on the floor.

Belair looked to follow up, only to go crashing into the ring post shoulder-first back in the ring. Asuka took advantage with an Ankle Lock, only for Bianca to use her strength to escape. Asuka managed to apply the Ankle Lock again. Belair escaped again before a Shotgun Dropkick and a near fall from the challenger. Asuka continued to dominate the action, sending Belair crashing into the ring post for a second time soon after with another Shotgun Dropkick. Asuka went for a Suplex to the floor but Belair fought out and hit a Brainbuster back into the ring.

After more back-and-forth action, Belair hit a Blockbuster and Handspring Moonsault for a near fall as the Raw Women's Champion began to become frustrated. Belair went for the 450 Splash but Asuka chopped her down and climbed to the top rope. After a brawl, Asuka used Belair's braid to hit a Codebreaker for a two count. Belair fired back, smashing Asuka's head into the top turnbuckle. An annoyed Belair managed to dodge the mist when the referee wasn't looking and she set up for the KOD but Asuka reversed into the Asuka Lock. Soon after, Bianca used her power to escape the Asuka Lock and hit a KOD for the victory.

Shane McMahon returns, Snoop Dogg def. The Miz

After the match, The Miz had a go at Snoop Dogg. After some trash talk about Los Angeles, Snoop Dogg revealed The Miz would be wrestling again on night two, this time against the returning Shane McMahon.

Shane O'Mac immediately unloaded strikes on The Miz and performed a leapfrog before immediately collapsing to the mat as he tore his quadriceps. This prompted Snoop Dogg to get in the ring and save the segment as he decked The Miz with two right hands before following up with the People's Elbow to pin The Miz.

Edge def. Demon Finn Balor - Hell in a Cell Match

In the next match, Brood Edge clashed with Demon Finn Balor as they looked to end their months-long feud since Edge was kicked out of Judgment Day by Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley in the summer of 2022.

Weapons were quickly introduced to the match as Edge introduced a red chair but Balor no-sold the chair shot. Edge then dominated the action, trapping The Demon in the corner of the cell with multiple kendo sticks before following up with a Missile Dropkick. Balor then escaped and sent Edge crashing into  the steel steps.

Back in the ring, Edge hit an Impaler DDT and went for a Spear, only for Balor to fire back with a Slingblade. Balor followed up with steel chair shots on the outside before he was chopped down with a Big Boot from Edge. The Rated-R Superstar then paid homage to Christian Cage, connecting with a Killswitch. Edge went for the Spear again but Balor blocked it and rolled him up for a two-count. Edge then hit an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall before Edge yeeted a ladder at Balor's head.

A long stoppage followed while Balor received medical attention for a cut and was checked for a possible concussion. Balor missed a Coup de Grace. Edge went for a Spear but smashed his head into the ladder. Balor fired back with a Slingblade, Shotgun Dropkick, and Coup de Grace but Edge managed to kick out at two.

Balor then went for a Coup de Grace from the top of a ladder, only to be whacked in the face with a kendo stick by Edge. The Rated-R Superstar then hit an Edgecution from the top of the ladder but Balor managed to kick out! Edge brought a table into the ring but this gave Balor time to recover and unload on Edge with kendo stick and chair shots. The Demon then went for a Coup de Grace from the wall of the cell through a table but he crashed and burned as Edge rolled out of the way.

A Spear from Edge followed but Balor managed to get his shoulder up! Edge then unloaded on Balor with kendo stick and chair shots, breaking a kendo stick in the first place. Edge then decked Balor with a Con-Chair-To and pinned the Demon for the 1-2-3.

Roman Reigns (c) def. Cody Rhodes - Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

After a huge set of ads and very long entrances, it was time for the main event of WrestleMania 39 as Roman Reigns defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Royal Rumble 2023 winner Cody Rhodes as The American Nightmare looked to finish the story.

After Cody Rhodes dominated the opening moments in mat wrestling, Roman Reigns went to the outside for a pep talk with Paul Heyman, who urged the Tribal Chief to smash Rhodes. Cody simply remained in control, though, until Roman decked him with a Powerbomb for a near fall. Reigns dominated the next several minutes of action, methodically working over the challenger. After Cody fought back briefly, he was chopped down by Solo Sikoa with a chair shot while the referee was distracted before a Drive By from Roman Reigns.

Reigns continued to dominate following the interference until Reigns tried to put Cody through the announce table with a Piledriver, only for The American Nightmare to backdrop Reigns through the announce table. Back in the ring, Cody connected with the Cody Cutter but Reigns got his shoulder up. Rhodes then decked Reigns with a Suicide Dive.

The American Nightmare looked to continue on offence, only to be attacked from behind by Solo Sikoa with Cody's own weight belt. While the referee didn't see the interference, he suddenly questioned why Rhodes was down and ejected Solo Sikoa from the match. Reigns then grabbed the weight belt and looked to use it before being stopped by the referee. The incident allowed Cody to connect with a Superkick and Cross Rhodes for what looked to be the finish but Reigns managed to kick out at two.

Reigns scored a near fall of his own with a Uranage and set up for the Superman Punch but Cody countered into a Pedigree for another near fall. Cody then went for the Disaster Kick but was decked in mid-air with a Superman Punch. Once again, that looked to be it but Cody kicked out at two. Reigns looked to follow up but Rhodes reversed into a Sunset Flip pin for a two-count before he applied the Figure Four Leglock. Reigns managed to reverse the pressure to break the hold moments later, though.

After more back and forth, Reigns finally connected with a Spear, only for Rhodes to kick out yet again. Reigns pummelled Rhodes after being shocked by the kick out, with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion simply growing angry. Reigns applied the Guillotine, the move that often wins him matches. Cody briefly fought out until Reigns went down to the mat. Cody looked to be fading but he managed to break out screaming and pummelled Reigns with shot after shot.

Rhodes then went for the Big Boot but decked the official. Reigns hit a Superman Punch and Rhodes hit a Lariat, leaving both men flattened. The American Nightmare was first back to his feet and set up for the Cross Rhodes but he suddenly ate a Superkick Party and 1D from The Usos. The Usos dragged Reigns over Cody but Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens charged to the ring, getting rid of The Usos before KO hit a Stunner on Reigns and Zayn followed up with the Helluva Kick to his former Tribal Chief.

The Usos and the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions then went brawling through the crowd as Rhodes crawled over and draped his arm over Reigns. The referee counted the 1-2 but Reigns got his shoulder up at 2.99.

After some slugging, Rhodes channelled Dusty Rhodes with a Bionic Elbow before two Cross Rhodes. Rhodes went for a third Cross Rhodes but Solo Sikoa suddenly appeared from behind The American Nightmare and decked him with a Samoan Spike. One Spear from Roman Reigns later and The Tribal Chief was still Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Cody Rhodes' story ends in defeat at WrestleMania 39.
