Cuatrero Found Guilty Of Domestic Violence And Attempted Femicide Against Stephanie Vaquer

Cuatrero, the luchador who previously performed for CMLL and AAA, has been found guilty of domestic violence and attempted femicide against his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Vaquer.

Antonio Nieto reported that Cuatrero - real name Rogelio Reyes - had been found guilty. His sentencing will take place on Tuesday, May 12.

Cuatrero was arrested in March 2023 following a AAA show in Aguascalientes, Mexico. In her police statement, Stephanie Vaquer alleged that Cuatrero grabbed her by the neck and threw her against a wall during an argument. A painting then fell and hit Vaquer before she ran to her bedroom to call the police. Cuatrero fled the scene before authorities arrived. Photos in the police report showed bruising around Vaquer's neck and she also claimed her trachea was almost broken.

Cuatrero was incarcerated until March 2025 as the case progressed through the Mexican court system. He was blocked from wrestling until March 2026 when an injunction was granted to lift the ban, and he performed for several independent wrestling promotions in Mexico until he was found guilty.

The son of Cien Caras, Cuatrero was a part of Nueva Generación Dinamita with his brother Sanson and cousin Forastero. Cuatrero wrestled for CMLL from 2014 until 2021 and he is a former CMLL World Middleweight Champion, CMLL World Trios Champion with Forastero and Sanson, and CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Champion with Sanson.

Nueva Generación Dinamita exited CMLL in August 2021 and debuted in AAA days later at Triplemania XXIX. They were AAA World Trios Champions at the time of Cuatrero's arrest. Sanson and Forastero continue to wrestle for AAA.

Stephanie Vaquer was a part of CMLL at the time of Cuatrero's arrest. She has been signed to WWE since 2024 and is a former Women's World Champion, NXT Women's Champion, and NXT Women's North American Champion.
