WWE have reportedly given up on Omos.

The 'Nigerian Giant' has hardly been on WWE programming since May of 2023 and he hasn't been booked at all by the company since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the go-home edition of SmackDown before WrestleMania 40 in April. Prior to that, Omos had been working house shows on a regular basis, defeating Odyssey Jones and Akira Tozawa in squash matches.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE booked Omos on house shows against Tozawa and Jones in order for the big man to get experience as the company "hadn't fully decided to give up on him." Since then, however, Omos hasn't even been booked on a WWE live event and he has instead spent his time setting up a YouTube channel, with his first video being "Top 10 Summer Fragrances 2024."

Omos hasn't been booked in a televised singles match since a loss to Seth Rollins at Backlash in May 2023. That match took place only one month after Omos had a major match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

Omos has been signed with WWE since 2019. He was in a popular tag team with AJ Styles, even holding the Raw Tag Team Titles in 2021, but Omos has largely failed to impress since becoming a singles talent.
