Drew McIntyre sustained what appeared to be a nasty looking blow to his forehead during the main event on the October 11 episode of WWE Raw.

The Scotsman, teaming with WWE Champion Big E, took on SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a bout that the thrown-together duo lost by count-out. McIntyre and Big E, who are set to fight for the WWE Title at Crown Jewel 2021, got into it outside the ring, exchanging blows and throwing each other around the ringside area.

During the exchange, McIntyre suffered a blow to the head - above his right eye - that left the 36-year-old with blood streaming down his face. According to PWInsider, the injury occurred when a wayward elbow caught McIntyre particularly hard.

According to the report, McIntyre was said to be doing okay backstage following the match, indicating that no lasting damage was done to the Scottish Warrior.

McIntyre had the final say in the physical exchange with Big E, hitting the New Day member with a vicious Claymore to end the segment and close the show. The segment can be viewed in the video player below.
