KENTA is in control of the block due to tiebreakers but NJPW Commentator Chris Charlton has outlined how Shingo Takagi, Kota Ibushi or Zack Sabre Jr. could advance to the final, writing: "So! Zack: must win, and have Ibushi win. A Zack win automatically eliminates Shingo. Shingo: must win, have Zack lose and have KENTA win. Ibushi: must win and have Zack lose. Shingo is the least in control of his destiny, KENTA the most. #g131."
