Almost three years after her last WWE match at WrestleMania 35, Ronda Rousey returned to the company tonight and made an instant impact, winning the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble.

Rousey entered the match at #28 and dominated, quickly eliminating The Bella Twins, Shotzi and Nikki A.S.H.

The rumble then came down to Shayna Baszler, Rousey, Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. The field quickly fell to two, though, as Flair eliminated Belair and Baszler at the same time after The EST Of WWE went for a KOD on the former NXT Women's Champion.

A brief face-off between Rousey and Flair then followed before the returning Superstar dumped the SmackDown Women's Champion over the top rope for the victory.

Who Rousey will challenge has yet to be officially revealed although reports have noted The Baddest Woman On The Planet will go one-on-one with Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38.

Rousey's return is also set to extend beyond WrestleMania and she is reportedly set to perform on WWE TV for more than a year - a run that will include major matches at WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 39 from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
