Ricochet Possibly Not Finished On WWE TV Despite Being Written Off

Ricochet may not be finished on WWE TV after all.

The former Intercontinental Champion was written out of WWE programming on the June 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, being put through a car windshield by Bron Breakker before Ricochet was taken away in an ambulance with Samantha Irvin at his side.

Although the plan was for Monday night to be Ricochet's final on-screen appearance, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported there was talk on Monday about having the 35-year-old make one final appearance on WWE TV as news of his impending exit drew a huge amount of attention and Ricochet still has time left on his deal.

There has been at least one pitch for Ricochet to return for another appearance, but it would be dependent on whether the man himself actually wants to return for a final show.

PWInsider noted that it is believed Ricochet's deal "expires sometime around July." The expectation within WWE is that Ricochet will head to All Elite Wrestling when he becomes a free agent.

Ricochet has been a part of WWE since 2018. In addition to his Intercontinental and United States title reigns, he is also a former North American Champion.
