The classic faction could still return...

From 1996 until the end of 1998, The Nation Of Domination garnered major heel heat in WWE as a faction composed of ethnic minorities who used mannerisms and ring gear inspired by the Black Power movement.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE planned to revive The Nation Of Domination on last night's episode of Raw, which is why Ron Simmons was at the Performance Center, but the idea was scrapped during the rewrites of the show.
Meltzer said: "There was an idea, I don't know if it was dropped. Originally, it was going to be on the show for a revamping of The Nation Of Domination and Ron Simmons was going to be a part of that angle, but they dropped that angle for this show. They may be building to it later, they may have dropped it completely, but they had brought him in for that angle. So, therefore, that is why he was on television."
The Nation was in the news over the weekend as, during a recent interview with Sporting News, United States Champion Apollo Crews said he would like to revive the faction as a babyface stable.
The One Man Nation said: "No way. I feel like everyone would love to see something like that today. I would have to be a part of it. I wouldn't want to be on the outside looking in at that faction. I saw everyone talking about it and it would be dope. That's what so many people want to see. Not only myself, but I know a few guys backstage would want to be in it. Thinking about those possibilities is really cool. But it would have to be a babyface stable today."
