Since March 16, all episodes of Monday Night Raw have been broadcast behind closed doors from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The company's flagship show has struggled in the ratings throughout the coronavirus pandemic, averaging 1.853 million viewers, and last week's episode averaged only 1.561 million viewers, a record low.
Vince McMahon isn't worried about the declining ratings, however, as Paul Davis at WrestlingNews.co reported the boss has "shrugged off" the low figures as he firmly believes viewership will improve once fans can attend shows again. While no one knows when the company will be able to start touring, McMahon reportedly believes fans will be able to attend Raw by September.
To improve ratings for shows at the Performance Center, a source told Davis the WWE chairman is "doing what he can" by having pay-per-view matches like Randy Orton vs. The Big Show and Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus on TV, and both the USA Network and FOX are happy with viewership as they also believe ratings will improve once fans can be in attendance.
