RETRIBUTION caused quite a stir within the professional wrestling world on Monday. The group was finally unveiled on Raw as they made their way to the ring in masks inspired by Bane and Mad Max and we later discovered the three men had been renamed Mace (Dio Maddin), Slapjack (Shane Thorne) and T-Bar (Dominik Dijakovic).

Their unveiling wasn't warmly received by fans and WWE Superstars backstage reportedly laughed while watching the faction's segments on Raw and thought the new names were "ridiculous."

For an unknown reason, WWE decided not to reveal Mia Yim's or Mercedes Martinez's new names. According to WrestleVotes, the company was originally going to give the former NXT Superstars a name change on Monday and either Yim or Martinez would have been known as "Shatter."

WrestleVotes tweeted: "Guys, it gets better! Heard that at one point the females in Retribution needed names on Monday for TV. Thankfully that got scrapped. One of the names was going to be... 'Shatter'."
