Report: Update On WWE's Plans For Roman Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar Feud
No plans for Reigns to drop the gold

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are set to resume their long-running rivalry on October 21 when the two men square off at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia for the Universal Championship.
That reportedly won't be the end of the feud, though, and it emerged on October 9 that Lesnar vs. Reigns wouldn't be a "one-and-done program."
In an update, WrestlingNews.co noted there are no plans for Roman Reigns to drop the Universal Title in 2021 and The Tribal Chief is expected to hold on to the gold for a "long time."
A WWE source also told WrestlingNews.co that Lesnar isn't scheduled for any WWE shows for the remainder of 2021 after Crown Jewel. The Beast Incarnate will instead next be in action inside a WWE ring at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January 2022.
Who Lesnar will be facing at the January 29 pay-per-view has not been revealed, though.
Lesnar and Reigns are longtime rivals in WWE, having first clashed in 2015 at WrestleMania 31. They have since resumed their rivalry in 2018 and again earlier this year at SummerSlam when Lesnar returned to confront the Universal Champion.
