Last night, it emerged that Roman Reigns had decided to withdraw from his Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 36 against Goldberg. The match was set to be taped on March 25 or March 26, but as Reigns has a compromised immune system from surviving leukaemia, The Big Dog did not want to risk his health and withdrew from the show.

More changes are expected to be made to The Showcase Of The Immortals in the coming days, with new matches set to be created that weren't originally planned for the 16-match show. This is because Superstars have either fallen ill, had a high temperature upon entering the WWE Performance Center, or refused to travel.

Coronavirus is ultimately the reason Reigns decided to withdraw from his match, as Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that SmackDown Tag Team Champion The Miz is sick and The Usos were very unhappy about this. Meltzer did not know if Miz was allowed into the Performance Center, but that Reigns was in the building when he decided to not go ahead with the taping.

Meltzer said: "Roman Reigns made the call himself. It was interesting because he was there and made the call and it had to do in some form with Miz being sick and The Usos not being happy about it, but I don’t really know much else."
