Possible Reason WWE Ended Shinsuke Nakamura's Push Revealed
Kazuchika Okada possibly impacts Shinsuke Nakamura's WWE booking

Events outside of the company have seemingly played into WWE no longer pushing Shinsuke Nakamura as strongly as they were in 2023.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Shinsuke Nakamura has found himself in a less-featured position since Kazuchika Okada signed with AEW.
"Nakamura, now that Okada's not going to WWE, Nakamura's star is not shining as bright," Meltzer stated.
Meltzer reported back in late 2023 after WWE renewed their interest in Kazuchika Okada that part of the company's strategy to entice Okada was to push Shinsuke Nakamura in an attempt to show the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion that "this regime is not going to treat Japanese like the stereotypical children-like role."
Nakamura received a substantial push in 2023, main eventing multiple pay-per-views as he unsuccessfully challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Nakamura then feuded with Cody Rhodes in the final weeks of 2023.
Kazuchika Okada ultimately made his full-time AEW debut in March 2024, with it emerging on February 11 that Okada was expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling. Since it became clear that Okada would become All Elite, Nakamura has only won one match on WWE TV. His last four televised matches have all ended in losses for Nakamura, including a four-minute defeat to Ilja Dragunov on the Raw after WrestleMania 40.
