Over the past few weeks, vignettes cast in a green light have teased the return of a former NXT Champion. Some suspected the individual was either Robert Roode or Bo Dallas, but one of those names was struck off the list earlier this week as The Glorious One returned to Monday Night Raw. This seemingly left only Dallas, but this pick turned out to be wrong as well.

Following Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae, The Genius Of The Sky celebrated in the ring but she was interrupted for a second time by an individual dressed in war-like gear. The Superstar then walked into the Capitol Wrestling Center and removed their helmet once they reached the ramp. To the shock of everyone, Ember Moon was revealed as the person under the helmet.

The War Goddess has been out of action since October 2019 with an achilles injury, and there were fears she would never step in the ring again. Thankfully for Moon, this isn't the case and she is seemingly chomping at the bit to become a two-time NXT Women's Champion.

Before Ember made her return, Toni Storm was the first Superstar to interrupt The Genius Of The Sky as she also returned to WWE TV. This was the former NXT UK Women's Champion's first appearance since she lost an I Quit match against Kay Lee Ray on February 27 and was banished from WWE's European brand.

Having taken an extended hiatus because of the coronavirus pandemic, Storm announced she is also coming for Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship.
