Drew McIntyre: 2K Want To Make Sure WWE 2K22 Is "Absolutely Perfect"
McIntyre is looking forward to playing the title

While it has been over two years since a mainline WWE 2K video game, that is set to change in March next year with the release of WWE 2K22.
The WWE 2K series had traditionally been an annual release but 2K20 received such a negative response that the publisher opted to scrap 2K21, with the spin-off WWE Battlegrounds being released instead.
2K have looked to repair their damaged reputation since 2K20 and the publisher announced a whole host of new features coming to WWE 2K22 last week, including the return of GM Mode - now known as MyGM.
Two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been involved with 2K22's development and The Scottish Warrior revealed to Fightful that 2K are desperate to make next year's title "absolutely perfect."
"It's been awesome and ongoing for a while. I've been filming some different stuff for it, filming some liners, doing the scans. There has really been a lot of effort into this game. I think the last one, how things turned out, they weren't great. They owned that and know that and are making sure this one is absolutely perfect. I can't wait to play because I know how hard they've been working on it and it's going to be fr*ggin' awesome when it comes out," McIntyre said.
Ahead of the game's release in March 2022, 2K will hold a gameplay reveal for the upcoming title in January.
