At the beginning of WWE Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch announced her relinquishment of the Raw Women's championship, due to the fact that she is pregnant.

Lynch made her entrance with Asuka's Money in the Bank briefcase in hand, and talked about her time with the company, before announcing that she was going away for a while.

Asuka interrupted the speech, only to be told that last night's ladder match wasn't for a future title shot - it was for the belt itself (assuming only if a Raw-brand talent won, you'd figure). Lynch then opened the briefcase to reveal that the belt was inside, and formally surrendered it to Asuka, who merrily celebrated.

Lynch then made the revelation that her relinquishment was because she was going to be a mother.

Lynch's reign reached 400 days, the longest in the four-year history of the belt. So long was Lynch's lone (so far) reign with the Raw Women's title that it's longer than any other holder's combined reigns with the same title.

This marks Asuka's first reign as Raw Women's champion, following one reign each as SmackDown and NXT Women's champions, as well as WWE Women's Tag Team champions.
