The first night of WWE's biggest event of the year finally took place on Saturday, April 1 as night one of WrestleMania 39 emanated from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Check out the full results below:

Austin Theory (c) def. John Cena

WrestleMania 39 opened in style with John Cena vs. Austin Theory for the United States Championship, with Cena making his entrance alongside several Make-A-Wish children. Cena dominated the opening minutes but Theory gained the upper hand after channelling his inner-Mike Tyson and biting Cena's ear. Cena briefly fought back by locking in the STF but Theory fought out and continued to dominate the next several minutes.

Cena eventually fired back with two Shoulder Tackles and his Protobomb before the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He looked to follow up with the next move of doom in the Attitude Adjustment but Theory broke free and sent the referee tumbling to the floor. After this happened, Cena applied the STF and Theory tapped out, but the referee wasn't around to see it. Cena for some reason started celebrating despite the bell not ringing and Theory took advantage with a brutal low blow before the A-Town-Down for the win.

The Street Profits def. Ricochet & Braun Strowman, The Viking Raiders, & Alpha Academy

After an opening exchange between Chad Gable and Ricochet, a big brawl took place and broke down with The Viking Raiders on top. Strowman took down Ivar and Erik until Braun was flattened by a German Suplex from Gable! Ivar missed a Moonsault soon after and Braun followed up with a big splash, only for Gable to break up the pin. A Tower of Doom followed soon after, which earned a "Holy sugar ice tea!" from Titus O'Neil, who was on commentary.

Strowman hit a Double Strowman Express until he was flattened by Angelo Dawkins, only for Dawkins to be taken out by a Shooting Star Press from Ricochet to the outside. Ricochet went for a Shooting Star Press to Dawkins back in the ring but Angelo got his knees up. Montez Ford then hit a Frog Splash while Angelo held Ricochet down and Dawkins rolled his opponent into a pin for the 1-2-3.

Seth Rollins def. Logan Paul

After two special entrances, Seth Rollins went one-on-one with Logan Paul in the third match of WrestleMania 39. Paul hit the first big move of the match, connecting with the Buckshot Lariat and a few body shots to double over the former WWE Champion. Paul then dominated the next several minutes, working over Rollins, before he went for a Springboard Moonsault, only to crash and burn. Rollins followed up with multiple Suicide Dives and hit a Stomp on Paul's right hand on the steel steps.

Back in the ring, both men exchanged pins until Paul hit Rollins with a huge right hand, but the injury meant he couldn't make the cover for a while, allowing Rollins to kick out. Rollins scored a near-fall moments later following a Sit-Out Powerbomb. Rollins then went for the Stomp but a lifesize PRIME bottle pulled Logan Paul to safety, with it being revealed to be KSI.

KSI and Paul then worked together to put Rollins through the announce table but Rollins pulled KSI in the way and Paul put the PRIME bottle through the table instead with a Frog Splash. Rollins then hit a Pedigree to Paul back in the ring and that looked to be it but the YouTuber kicked out. Rollins went for the Stomp soon after but Logan Paul hit the Go To Sleep! He then hit a Frog Splash for the nearest of near falls.

Paul went for a Coast to Coast but Rollins decked him with a Superkick and the Stomp for the 1-2-3.

Becky Lynch, Lita, & Trish Stratus def. Damage CTRL

Following an entrance that paid tribute to Sin City, Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus teamed together to face Damage CTRL's Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai. Damage CTRL dominated the early going, even withstanding a hot tag from Lita. The babyfaces eventually got rolling after Trish Stratus was tagged into the match.

Later, Becky Lynch managed to lock in the Disarm-Her but Bayley made the save. The move came after a botched Poetry in Motion from Lita and a Leg Drop from Lynch. Bayley went for the Rose Plant but Becky blocked it before a Manhandle Slam was blocked by Bayley. IYO SKY hit Lynch with a weapon behind the referee's back and Bayley connected with the Rose Plant. That looked to be it but Lita broke up the pin.

After a flurry of finishing moves, IYO SKY hit a Moonsault to take everybody out on the outside. After the action broke down, Lita hit a Twist of Fate and Stratus hit the Chick Kick before a Moonsault from Lita. An Avalanche Manhandle Slam from Lynch to Bayley followed for the win.

Rey Mysterio def. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio was the next match at WrestleMania, with Dom receiving a special entrance in a Rey mask and surrounded by police officers, reminding us that he was in jail at one point. Rey Mysterio then had his own special entrance, heading to the ring in a Low Rider driven by Snoop Dogg and coming out to Eddie Guerrero's entrance music.

In a ring surrounded by Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamojis, the blood feud between Rey and Dominik got underway, starting out slowly before Rey started whipping his own son's ass with a belt, only for his mother to tell Dominik that he deserved it. Dominik then swilled his sister and Rey stopped her from hopping the barricade, which Dom used to his advantage, attacking his father from behind.

Angie later slapped her son which somehow did not cause a DQ and Rey picked up a near fall soon after with a Code Red. Dominik begged his dad not to continue the assault until Dom fought back and Judgment Day made their way to ringside. With his friends providing support, Dominik hit an Inverted Electric Chair, sending his father crashing into the bottom turnbuckle, and Dom followed up with the Three Amigos. Rey countered, though, and hit the 619, only for Balor to distract the referee while Priest grabbed onto Rey before Mysterio could hit the Frog Splash.

The Latino World Order came down later to take out Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Back in the ring, Dominik took out Rey with a Clothesline and followed up with the 619. Dominik then hit a Frog Splash but Rey managed to get his shoulder up! Dominik later removed the turnbuckle pad and used the distraction to grab a chain from his cloak. He went to use the weapon, only for Bad Bunny to grab it out of Dom's hands. Rey then followed up with a 619 and Frog Splash for the victory.

Rhea Ripley def. Charlotte Flair (c) - SmackDown Women's Championship

Three years on from their previous clash at WrestleMania, Rhea Ripley challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship in the penultimate match of WrestleMania 39 night one. Debuting a remixed house version of her theme, Charlotte Flair made her way to the ring, with The Queen working the match as a heel.

After some back-and-forth action and trash-talking, Rhea Ripley went for the Riptide but Charlotte countered into a DDT. The SmackDown Women's Champion went for a Figure-Eight but Ripley blocked it and both women were taken down after simultaneous big boots. Charlotte went for a Moonsault but Ripley fought back with an Avalanche German Suplex, with Flair landing face first.

Charlotte Flair managed to hit Natural Selection but Ripley kicked out. After some more trash-talking, Ripley went for Riptide but Flair countered and hit a German Suplex of her own. Ripley then followed up with a nasty-looking Suplex as Flair hit the mat face first which left her with a friction burn on the nose.

Later, Flair hit her patented Moonsault to the outside and she went for the Figure-Eight and a Spear back in the ring, only for Ripley to block on both occasions. Rhea Ripley then hit the Riptide but the SmackDown Women's Champion managed to get her shoulder up. Flair almost scored the win with a Roll Up and Ripley fired back with the Prism Lock. Flair got her hand to the rope and followed up with a Spear for another near fall.

Flair, with tears in her eyes, caused a slug fight with the challenger as both women exchanged forearms before Flair hit a Big Boot and went for the Figure-Eight, only for Ripley to immediately reach the bottom rope. Ripley then drove Flair's head into the ring post and followed up with an Avalance Riptide for the victory.

Charlotte Flair laughed on the outside as Rhea Ripley celebrated above her.

Pat McAfee def. The Miz

A segment featuring The Miz and Snoop Dogg followed and after The Miz said no one answered the open challenge he claimed to have issued, Pat McAfee made his way to the ring - much to the shock of Michael Cole - and offered to face The Miz right here, right now. Miz said he couldn't make that match official which caused McAfee to lead the fans in a "tiny balls" chant. Snoop Dogg then made the match official.

The Miz in a suit faced Pat McAfee in a tank top after the bell rang and the former NFL punter rocked The Miz following a Moonsault and a Superkick. The Miz looked to just walk backstage but George Kittle (a San Francisco 49ers tight end) clotheslined The Miz and Pat followed up with a Senton.

McAfee then punted The Miz into next week for the victory.

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens def. The Usos (c) - Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships

In a match that many wanted to go on last, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens challenged The Usos in the main event of WrestleMania 39 night one for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

The early minutes featured The Usos working over Sami Zayn until he made the hot tag to Kevin Owens, with KO running wild until he was cut down by The Usos with a neckbreaker and Jimmy connected with an Uso Splash for an early near fall. Owens fired back with a Cannonball before Zayn hit a Brainbuster on the apron to Jey. KO followed up with a Swanton Bomb to Jimmy for a near fall before Sami hit an Uso Splash to Jimmy for a two count.

Blue Thunder Bomb from Zayn to Jimmy but Jey was the legal man and he decked Zayn with a flying Superkick for another near fall. Another Superkick followed and The Usos decked Zayn with a Superkick Party but KO broke up the pin before eating a Superkick himself. After even more Superkicks, Jey made the cover, only for Sami Zayn to get his shoulder up. Zayn kicked out again after another round of Superkicks. The Usos then went for the 1D but Owens pulled Jimmy Uso out of the ring and Zayn almost scored the win with a Sunset Flip pin.

The action spilled to the announce table and KO was sent crashing into oblivion following a Double Chokeslam. This left Zayn all alone and The Usos hit a 1D. That looked to be it but Zayn managed to get his shoulder up at 2.9! Jey goaded Sami in the corner, slapping his former faction mate and decking him with forearms. Zayn just continued to eat all of the punishment, including a Helluva Kick from Jey to add insult to injury. After Jey told Sami he should have never left The Bloodline, Zayn fired back with an Exploder Suplex in the corner and he tagged in Kevin Owens, who had managed to recover to the corner. The former Universal Champion decked The Usos with Pop-Up Powerbombs and Zayn followed up with a Helluva Kick to Jimmy.

KO decked Jey with a Stunner and that looked to be all she wrote but Jey kicked out just before the three count. After the action broke down into a brawl, The Usos hit another Superkick Party to their opponents before they hit a Double Uso Splash on Owens. Once again, Kevin Owens kicked out! The Usos, becoming more and more frustrated, went for an Avalanche 1D but the challengers avoided it and KO made the hot tag to Zayn as the crowd went wild.

With Jey in the corner, Zayn decked his former brother with a Helluva Kick before calling back to Battleground 2016 and hitting a second Helluva Kick. KO then decked Jimmy with a Stunner and a third Helluva Kick from Zayn to Jey led to the 1-2-3!

An emotional Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn then celebrated as fireworks surrounded SoFi Stadium to end night one of WrestleMania 39.
