It is becoming a common occurrence in 2022 and 2023 of WWE setting and breaking records, creating a whole lot of success in the last couple of years. The Fastlane premium live event last night in Indianapolis, Indiana once again brought in a lot of money, buzz, and success for the company.

During the post-show Fastlane press conference, Chief Content Officer Triple H (Paul Levesque) touted all this success, explaining that it was the highest grossing event in WWE history in the city. WWE set gate, sponsorship, and company records for Indianapolis, even with the promotion previously hosting big shows such as Survivor Series, SummerSlam, and the WrestleMania 8 event back in 1992. Pat McAfee would also emerge during the show to try and bring WrestleMania back to the city after over 30 years, to which Triple H responded saying “everyone” wants a WrestleMania, so there seems to be no confirmation of a WrestleMania happening in the city as of now.

Triple H also revealed that the attendance number for the PPV was 14,529.
