WWE Reportedly Teaming With MGM For 'American Gladiators' Reboot
A new collab has reportedly been revealed

WWE have reportedly agreed a partnership with MGM that will see the two collaborate on a reboot of 'American Gladiators'.
Deadline is reporting that MGM and WWE have teamed together to bring a reimagined version of the popular program back to television, with the non-scripted show set to feature a number of WWE superstars and personalities.
MGM and WWE will serve as executive producers on the project.
Mark Burnett, Chairman of MGM worldwide, and his team are currently pitching the rebooted series, which is based on the format created by Johnny Ferraro and Dan Carr, to broadcasters and platforms.
American Gladiators is widely considered one of the first ever reality-based competition shows, and pitted a number of amateur athletes against each other and the show's titular 'Gladiators', as they competed across a range of challenges and obstacle courses.
The series initially ran between 1989-1996 in the US, before being rebooted on NBC in 2008. WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan served as one of the hosts on the reboot.
A successful international remake also aired on ITV in the UK between 1992-2000 with a revival on Sky in 2008.
