WWE Reportedly Shopping Documentaries Around To External Networks
Could WWE be working outside of Peacock?

Reports have emerged suggesting that WWE could be shopping some of their documentaries to external networks.
The news comes amidst speculation of several documentaries which have yet to be released on Peacock, despite being advertised around WrestleMania season.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson:
“With the exception of their 9/11 documentary, there haven't been new ones released for several months despite docs being 100% complete [Lex Luger, Vladimir the Superfan, etc.] and others in the middle of being worked on [The Nexus]. There has been talk within the company in recent weeks that the docs may be getting shopped around to see about outside interest for them on other streaming or broadcast networks. A&E seems to make the most sense given how successful the WWE Biography specials were over the summer, but we have been unable to confirm 100% that any talks are ongoing, just that WWE is interested in exploring that strategy.”
WWE have enjoyed partnerships with A&E and ESPN in the past, with the latter’s 30 for 30 series focusing on Ric Flair and The XFL amongst other topics.
