205 Live is no more, long live NXT Level Up.

While 205 Live hasn't been the home of the cruiserweights for some time and has very much been used as a second NXT show in recent months, the purple brand has officially come to an end after six years.

WWE announced during Tuesday's 'Vengeance Day' episode of NXT that NXT Level Up would debut on Friday in 205 Live's old 10 pm ET timeslot. The show will air on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network internationally.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the change had been in the works for some time and WWE finally decided to make the change earlier this week.

WWE did previously have a storyline on NXT where Joe Gacy challenged for the Cruiserweight Title and promised to end 205 Live if he defeated then-champion Roderick Strong.

The first episode of NXT Level Up was taped ahead of Vengeance Day on Tuesday from the WWE Performance Center. The likes of Tatum Paxley, Fallon Henley, Kushida, Edris Enofe and Harland were in action at the show.
