WWE Raw Superstar Undergoes Surgery, Out Of Action Until November
A troublesome elbow...
Aug 7, 2019
WWE SummerSlam takes place this coming Sunday but there will be one notable omission from the night's card.
Per a report from
Pro Wrestling Sheet, Bobby Lashley recently had surgery on an injured elbow: "Bobby Lashley has been off WWE TV for weeks and Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned it’s because he underwent surgery on his elbow.
"According to sources, the 43-year-old had to go under the knife to remove bone spurs from his elbow."
Fightful
earlier reported that Bobby would be out of action until November and PWS have had that confirmed to them also.
Lashley last wrestled on a televised WWE show on the July 15 episode of Raw where he was one of the 10 men involved in a Battle Royal to determine Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship challenger for Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view. Of course, Seth Rollins would go on to win that match.
Before that, Bobby had been feuding with Braun Strowman. Both men went through the stage on the first Raw of the
Paul Heyman Era
before they went at it in a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules. Strowman came out on top as he burst through a wall after Powerslamming Lashley off a ledge in the crowd.
