WWE have offered a developmental contract to a former bodybuilder, following a recent two-day tryout at the IMG Academy in Tampa Bay, Floria.

Melanie Brzezenski was among 30 hopefuls being evaluated by former WWE Champion Big E at the tryout.

Speaking with ABC Action News, Brzezenski noted that she prepared well in advance for the opportunity, saying: "I got a personal trainer back in July, and I said to him that I have one goal and one goal only. That is to get into the WWE".

The former bodybuilder from the University of Tampa had previously applied six times to secure a tryout with the company. Brzezenski (who seems to be going by the chosen name of 'Rosie Ray') was quoted as saying: "I was like, 'I'm ready. I want to do this. I want to be on the camera, and I want to be a star'".

Her persistence and good showing during the tryout was rewarded with the contract offer.

Not much is known about Brzezenski, but the 22-year-old's Instagram account boasts almost 12,000 followers and she posts mainly about fitness.
