WWE broadcast the latest edition of NXT from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, January 25.

NXT got straight to the in-ring action on Tuesday's episode as the Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continued with MSK vs. Jacket Time. Both teams fought back and forth throughout the contest and Kushida looked to have the match won after he applied the Hoverboard Lock to Nash Carter. The MSK man managed to make the tag to Wes Lee, though, and the former Dezmond Xavier followed up with a Blockbuster for the win.

In the next segment, Santos Escobar cut a promo on Bron Breakker following their confrontation last week, claiming he wasn't intimidated by the NXT Champion. Instead, Escobar just despises Bron and how fast he has risen on the developmental brand which, as per usual, led to an interruption from the NXT Champion.

After a back and forth exchange, Breakker tried to goad Escobar into challenging him but the former Cruiserweight Champion claimed he would do things on his time, not Breakker's. Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde then tried to attack the NXT Champion but the young Steiner easily fought them off to end the segment.

Hostilities between Legado Del Fantasma and Breakker were then renewed outside of the Performance Center just before NXT went off the air but the NXT Champion had back up from Tommaso Ciampa, setting up a tag team match for next week.

In the second Dusty Cup match on the show, Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Chase University. Von Wagner then revealed he had joined the Robert Stone brand and beat down Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward following their loss.

In the main event match of NXT, Cameron Grimes earned an NXT North American Title shot with a win over Tony D'Angelo. The match was even throughout but Grimes scored the win with a Cave-In following interference from the returning Pete Dunne. Grimes will face Carmelo Hayes at the recently announced Vengeance Day TV special on February 15.

Elsewhere on NXT, Solo Sikoa defeated Boa in a No DQ Falls Count Anywhere Match, Duke Hudson squashed Guru Raaj and then won a pull-apart brawl with Dante Chen, Cora Jade once again failed to convince Raquel Gonzalez to team with her in the Dusty Cup, and Io Shirai defeated Tiffany Stratton.

Future women's title matches were also seemingly set up on the show after Persia Pirotta, Indi Hartwell and Kay Lee Ray defeated Toxic Attraction. KLR and Mandy Rose ended up brawling to the back during the contest, while Persia Pirotta picked up the win for her team, pinning Gigi Dolin.
