The December 14 episode of WWE NXT fell to the lowest viewership since the move to Tuesday nights on the USA Network.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week's episode of NXT averaged out at 561,000 viewers, which is a decrease of 4.9 per cent from the show the week prior. This makes the episode the fourth lowest viewed in NXT history while also marking it as the lowest-ever viewership number registered since switching to Tuesday nights back in April.

In the crucial 18-49 demographic, NXT did actually achieve a decent rise, going up 27.3 per cent to a 0.14 rating. This means the show finished 36th in the category on the cable charts.

Interesting, NXT was actually up in almost all major demographics, but saw a significant fall in viewership from people over 50-years-old, which is regularly the show's strongest category. In that demo, he show was down 8.6 percent in that demo, which almost solely was behind the decline in viewership.

The main competition for NXT was an NBA game between the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The game averaged 2.35 million viewers on TNT, running head-to-head with NXT.
