NXT 2.0 held their third show since the September 13 revamp and the Tuesday night episode was headlined by three title matches.

In the main event, Raquel Gonzalez defeated Franky Monet to retain the NXT Women's Championship. Monet enjoyed plenty of offence during the six-minute match but she was unable to press home her advantage and Gonzalez picked up the win with the Chingona Bomb.

Gonzalez's next challenger then revealed themselves after the match as Toxic Attraction first wiped out Franky Monet, Jessi Kamea and Robert Stone before they surrounded the NXT Women's Champion and left her lying following a Jumping Knee from Mandy Rose. God's Greatest Creation then hoisted up the NXT Women's Title as the show went off the air.

Toxic Attraction were less successful earlier in the night, though, as Jacy Jayne and Priscilla Kelly failed to defeat Io Shirai and Zoey Stark for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship. Both teams fought back and forth for 12 minutes and the champions retained after Shirai decked Jayne with a Moonsault.

Roderick Strong also put the Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Grayson Waller and The Messiah Of The Backbreaker retained the gold after six minutes with a Running Knee.

In another segment with title implications, NXT 2.0 repeated a segment from last week, this time with tag team Superstars as Grizzled Young Veterans, Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams, and Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen staked their claims to an NXT Tag Team Title shot while MSK stood in the ring. The action then broke down into a brawl and MSK ended the segment standing tall.

Bron Breakker also had a smaller presence on September 28 and the former NFL player cut a Steiner-esque promo about wanting the NXT Championship and not being a patient guy. Tommaso Ciampa then told the NXT 2.0 commentary team that he had heard Breakker "loud and clear."

Clips from Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis' honeymoon were shown on NXT 2.0 too. Lumis and Hartwell were initially shown kissing in the ocean until Johnny Gargano forced them back to land after pretending to be a shark in the water. Gargano and Candice LeRae then realised Lumis and Hartwell were heading back to their room and Johnny Wrestling went to check that Lumis had enough condoms. Lumis had at least 50 and Gargano became stuck in the room while Lumis and Hartwell had a pillow fight in a segment brimming with sexual innuendo. Gargano then tried to leave and Lumis gave him a thumbs up while holding a lot of condoms as Hartwell napped.

Elsewhere on NXT, Elektra Lopez defeated B-Fab in a No DQ Match, Xyon Quinn pinned Oney Lorcan, Boa squashed Andre Chase, LA Knight attacked Odyssey Jones, Joe Gacy said he wasn't cancelled, Lash Legend made fun of other wrestlers on her new talk show, and Tony D'Angelo and Cora Jade announced they will be in action next week.

Kyle O'Reilly also picked up a win over Ridge Holland with a Roll-Up after KOR sent the former rugby league player crashing into Pete Dunne. Dunne and Holland then attacked O'Reilly before Von Wagner made the save.
