WWE broadcast the latest edition of NXT 2.0 on November 9, 2021.
Toxic Attraction retained their spot at the top of the NXT women's division in the opening contest as the faction managed to defeat Io Shirai, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. Io Shirai went into the match looking for revenge after Toxic Attraction laid out Zoey Stark but The Genius Of The Sky will just have to wait as Gigi Dolin picked up the win for her team after decking Kayden Carter with her finisher.
Following a backstage confrontation earlier in the night, Pete Dunne and Carmelo Hayes went one-on-one in an entertaining main event. Trick Williams tried to assist Hayes down the stretch but Dexter Lumis, who had made his way to ringside, prevented Trick from doing so. A hand from under the ring then grabbed Hayes' leg and Dunne capitalised with the Bitter End for the victory.
After the match, the hand was revealed to be Johnny Gargano's and the former NXT Champion gave Lumis a thumbs up as NXT went off the air.
Raquel Gonzalez also looked to exact revenge on NXT 2.0 as she invited Dakota Kai to come to the ring. The Captain Of Team Kick obliged and admitted it felt good to hit Gonzalez with a shovel at Halloween Havoc. Cora Jade then suddenly attacked Kai which annoyed Gonzalez and the former NXT Women's Champion warned Jade to wait in line.
The blossoming romance between Elektra Lopez and Xyon Quinn continued on NXT 2.0 too and Lopez offered the former rugby player a spot in Legado del Fantasma after her victory over Erica Yan. Quinn promptly turned her down and he then fended off Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde before he and Lopez had a steamy staredown.
Elsewhere on NXT, Kay Lee Ray defeated Sarray, Joe Gacy picked up a win over Boa by DQ after the lights turned red in the WWE Performance Center and Boa choked his opponent, The Creed Brothers earned a victory over Jacket Time following a distraction from Roderick Strong. Odyssey Jones then made the save for Jacket Time after the match.
Cameron Grimes also earned a quick win over Ru Feng before Duke Hudson challenged him to a Poker Showdown next week, Solo Sikoa defeated Grayson Waller and LA Knight in a Triple Threat and Tony D'Angelo gave Indi Hartwell a dead fish.
