Judas Priest were inspired by a WWE jobber

Inspiration is a weird thing, you just never know where and when it will appear, or in what form. Just ask heavy metal icons Judas Priest, after it was revealed that the British legends were inspired by a one-time WWE jobber in the 1980s.
The Judas Priest track ‘A Touch of Evil’ from their 1990 speed-metal tinged Painkiller album was inspired by WWE jobber Mark Young, with @TheAshPreston on Twitter/X pointing out the fact:
“Appalling absurd wrestling fact. 80’s WWF jobber Mark Young used a piece of stock music called 'Touch of Evil' in his short WWF 1989 run. Anyway, it was done by Chris Tsangarides who used the demo riff to later produce 'A Touch of Evil' for Judas Priest.”
Young was the adopted son of WWE Hall of Famer Chief Jay Strongbow, and was trained by Stu Hart. Debuting for the promotion in 1986, Young would go on to sign a contract with the promotion in 1989, remaining with the company as an enhancement talent for a year before returning in 1992 after a run in All Japan Pro Wrestling.
