With Netflix's Vince McMahon docuseries set to be released on September 25, a number of WWE higher-ups and talent are reportedly keen to wash their hands of the former owner. A recent Fightful Select report gauged behind-the-scenes feeling on the show ahead of its release, and stated:

"Wrestlenomics posted that the final episode in the series would cover McMahon’s lawsuit alleging a number of sexual misconduct claims, and it would also be addressed at the top of the show. WWE sources that we spoke to believed that this was establish to help take heat off of any talking heads on the show that may have spoken about McMahon glowingly before the 2022 allegations emerged.

"'I don’t think at this point anyone should care about the life and times of Vince McMahon above the legal situation he’s in,' said one WWE talent of over a decade. Of everyone that we spoke to in WWE (over one dozen contacts on this particular story) across talent, staff and higher-ups, it was a unanimous feeling of wanting to wash their hands of Vince McMahon."

The docuseries, entitled 'Mr. McMahon', will see Netflix release all episodes simultaneously on September 25. Neither WWE nor McMahon are said to have had any say in the final cut, according to a report by PWInsider Elite.
