WWE have embraced the ‘world’ part of their former World Wrestling Entertainment name over the past two years, with the company running major ‘premium live events’ in Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Australia, with events in Germany and France also on the horizon.

WWE President Nick Khan recently spoke of the future of WWE’s traditional ‘big five’ events, noting at the World Congress of Sports convention that they will remain tentpole events for North American cities:

“We sat down together a few years ago and decided, so the big five premium live events... should be in the United States or Canada,” Khan said. “All of the other events, the goal is to have them from international locations.”

WWE’s big five currently consists of the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series, and despite holding MITB in London’s O2 in 2023, it seems the events will be remaining in North America going forward.

Toronto will host MITB on July 6, whilst SummerSlam is set for Cleveland on August 3. Outside of these events, France will hold Backlash on May 4, King and Queen of the Ring will take place in Saudi Arabia on May 25, Clash at the Castle II will broadcast live from Scotland on June 15, and the inaugural Bash in Berlin event is set for Germany on August 31.
