WWE Files New Trademark For The Revival's Former Ring Name

It was
reported one week agothat Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival filed trademarks on several phrases related to them, including "Top Guys".
WWE has since filed a trademark
on "The Mechanics", a name that Dawson and Wilder used in NXT from 2014 until the spring of 2015.
WWE's filing was made on Monday, February 24.
It reads, "Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment."
Also listed in WWE's trademark filings is the phrase "No Flips, Just Fists", which has appeared on The Revival's t-shirts. The Revival applied for a trademark on the same phrase on February 18.
WWE's filing for the phrase, reads, "G & S: Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas."
