WWE and Hulu have agreed to an extension.

WWE announced during the Q3 2022 investors call they have signed an extension with Hulu for the next-day rights to Monday Night Raw in the United States following months of negotiations. It was noted by WWE Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer Frank Riddick III that the Hulu extension is only short-term.

Hulu and WWE will work together on new content and a series focusing on Bianca Belair and Montez Ford will be coming to the streaming service.

Hulu also has the next-day rights for Friday Night SmackDown until at least September 2024 through a deal with FOX.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE's new deal with Hulu is an extension that will expire at the end of September 2024. This is to ensure the TV deals for Raw, SmackDown, and next-day rights all expire at the same time.

Raw currently airs on NBCUniversal's USA network, as does NXT, while Friday Night SmackDown airs on FOX. It is expected that NBCUniversal will bid for the next-day rights to WWE programming to include on Peacock.

WWE content has aired on Hulu since 2012.
