WWE Executive Salaries Revealed In Annual Proxy Statement

Including the McMahons and Triple H

WWE have released their most recent proxy statement ahead of the annual shareholders meeting which has revealed the 2021 salaries of a number of top executives, including the McMahon's.

In compliance with SEC regulations, WWE must file the statement prior to their shareholders meeting, which will be held on Thursday 27 May, 2021.

As part of the statement, WWE reports the base salaries of their executives, including Chairman Vince McMahon, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. It is noted that no salary increases were granted to any WWE executives in 2021.

Vince McMahon

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon's base salary in 2021 is $1.4 million. This is equal with his base salary in 2020 and 2019.

In 2020, Vince McMahon earned a total of $3,905,792. This was comprised of his base salary, $1.63 million in stock awards, $854,000 in incentives, and just over $20,000 in other compensations. It is noted that this is less than 2019 ($3.5 million) and 2018 ($5.6 million).

Stephanie McMahon

WWE's Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has a 2021 base salary of $730,000. This is equal to her base salary in 2020, which was a rise from $710,000 in 2019.

It is noted that McMahon's base salary for her executive role does not include any of her compensation received for her role as a performer on WWE programming.

In 2020, Stephanie McMahon earned a total of $2,187,266. This was comprised of her base salary, $464,778 in stock, $222,650 in incentives and $775,723 in other compensation - which also includes her performer's contract with WWE.

Paul 'Triple H' Levesque

WWE EVP, Global Talent Strategy & Development Paul Levesque has a 2021 base salary of $730,000. This is equal to his base salary in 2020, which has risen slightly in the two years previously.

It is noted that Levesque's base salary for his executive role does not include any of her compensation received for her role as a performer on WWE programming.

In 2020, Paul Levesque earned a total of $2,318,280. This was comprised of his base salary, $464,778 in stock awards, $222,650 in incentives and just under $906,737 in other compensation - which also includes his performer's contract with WWE.

Shane McMahon 

It is detailed in the 'declared relationships' section of the proxy report that Shane McMahon's employment with WWE is as a performer. Shane McMahon is paid $820,369 for his role.

Nick Khan

WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan has a 2021 base salary of $1,200,000. Khan joined WWE in August 2020.

In 2020, Nick Khan earned a total of $12,964,565. This was compromised of his base salary, which was $498,462 after joining the promotion in August, $6.8 million in stock; $471,823 in incentives; and $5.19 million in other compensation (which includes a signing bonus).

In regards to Khan's bonus, it is worth noting that it is subject to repayment requirements if he leaves 'without good reason' or is fired. If that was to happen within the first 12 months of employment with WWE, he has to repay all of it. Should that be between 12-24 months, he will repay $3.1 million, and between two to three years he will repay $1.2 million.
