WWE Confirms Location For WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania 36 is 55 days away as The Showcase Of The Immortals will be broadcast live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. So far, WWE has announced Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre will go one on one with Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. While no other matches have been announced, the expected card also includes Edge vs. Randy Orton, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler, and Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair.
Now, the
Los Angeles Timeshas announced that WWE will be heading back to The Golden State as WrestleMania 37 will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on March 28 2021.
The $5 billion stadium is currently under construction but is set to open in late July 2020 with a Taylor Swift concert. It will then become the home of the LA Rams and LA Chargers ahead of the new NFL season.
SoFi has a capacity of 70,240 but for large events like the Super Bowl or WrestleMania, it can be expanded to 100,240 which would make it the second biggest WrestleMania attendance of all time if the show sells out.
Other WrestleMania weekend events will also be hosted in the Los Angeles area, as the WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT TakeOver: Los Angeles will all be broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
