WWE & The Boogeyman Celebrate International Cat Day

He's The Boogeyman and, fortunately, he isn't coming for your cat. Instead, the former WWE talent seems to love the feline creatures, with WWE sharing a clip of The Boogeyman playing with a cat in celebration of International Cat Day.

The terrifying being can be seen stroking the cat before they engage in some wand play. The cat was evidently fearless as it did not immediately run away from The Boogeyman.

How exactly The Boogeyman and the cat came to meet is unknown, but they may well have bonded over a love of worms. Cats, while not encouraged, have been known to eat worms, something The Boogeyman did often on WWE TV during the 2000s, with Vince McMahon once racking up a $30,000 bill for The Boogeyman's favourite food.

International Cat Day is held on August 8 every year and cat owners are encouraged to spend five minutes playing with their cat to keep them happy and active.

While he has not wrestled for the company since 2015, The Boogeyman remains a presence in WWE and he is currently signed to a Legends deal.
