Vince McMahon Takes Austin Theory Under His Wing On WWE Raw

Austin Theory appears set for big things on WWE Monday Night Raw after watching the November 29 show in the company of Vince McMahon.

In a continuation of the storyline that began last week, Theory was invited by the WWE Chairman to watch Raw with him to see 'if anyone expects the unexpected' throughout the show.

Theory and McMahon would then appear in multiple segments throughout the show, reflecting on the happenings from the previous match. The boss would ask Theory what he thought of AJ Styles' surprise, after he tried to get involved in The Street Profits' match with Alpha Academy, and also asked him if Team Becky Lynch expected what happened when they lost to Team Liv Morgan in a ten-woman tag-team match.

The theme of the conversations centred around surprises, and expecting the unexpected.

The final segment saw McMahon ask Theory if he had enjoyed watching the show with him and what he had learned. The former NXT star said he had and he had learned to expect the unexpected and be prepared for surprises. The WWE boss stood up to say goodnight, only to slap Theory across the face and inform him that he still has a lot to learn.

As previously noted, Theory was the culprit behind the missing Cleopatra Golden Egg on last week's Raw, which led to McMahon putting him in a WWE Title Match with Big E. It appears Theory's progression will be a large aspect of the red brand going forward.
