The US Express are going into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Ringer has reported that Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda, real-life brother-in-laws who teamed together as the US Express, will be entering the WWE Hall of Fame as a tag team. They will be part of the 2024 class with Paul Heyman and Bull Nakano.

Initially teaming together in 1983 as part of Championship Wrestling from Florida, the US Express made their way to WWE in 1984 where they headed to the ring using Bruce Springsteen's 'Born in the USA.'  They remained a part of WWE together until 1985 when Windham left to return to Florida, ending their run as two-time WWE Tag Team Champions.

The iconic 'Real American' used by Hulk Hogan was originally intended for the US Express, only to be given to the Hulkster following the team's split. The team would be repackaged as the American Express with Dan Spivey replacing Barry Windham.

The US Express would later reunite in 2004 as part of IWA Japan. Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda enjoyed considerable success apart too with Windham already a WWE Hall of Famer as part of the Four Horsemen while Rotunda had a run as Irwin R. Schyster.

The Rotunda family continues to be represented in WWE today through Bo Dallas. Dallas' brother was the late Bray Wyatt.
