The Undertaker has admitted he found some difficultly in watching WWE WrestleMania 37 from home, and had to fight the feeling that he should be at the event.

The Deadman ended his historic 30-year career at Survivor Series last year, with his last match taking place at WrestleMania 36 against AJ Styles. The now retired Undertaker instead watched WrestleMania 37 at home, rather than being at the event.

The 56-year-old says he found it difficult once the event started, due to his legacy at WrestleMania, and had to contend with a voice in his head that told him he should still be involved in 'The Showcase Of The Immortals'.

The Undertaker told Sports Illustrated: "I was fine all the way until that first ballyhoo of fireworks. Fortunately, I was home, which made it a little easier, but going through the show and watching, I kept thinking to myself, ‘You should be there.’ I had to work through that.

"It’s a little difficult once WrestleMania starts. I started second-guessing myself. So much of my history revolves around WrestleMania. There was a bit of an emotional tug of the heartstrings watching this year, but it’s time for me to step aside and let this next generation have the reins and go where they’re going to go."
