Tucker Outlines Frustrations With WWE Creative

Recently released WWE Superstar Tucker has outlined his frustrations with the creative process in the company on Twitter.

The former Heavy Machinery man replied to a thread from Jon Alba and noted talent have little control over their characters or what happens on WWE TV.

"IMO and obviously I have a bad taste in my mouth but there is very little opportunity for talent to have any sense of agency over who they are and what happens on tv. To me it's this part of the creative process that is hurting the product the most currently," Tucker tweeted.

After a follow-up from Alba, Tucker mentioned talent are creatively restricted regardless of which brand they're on, writing: "Personally no I didn't find it to be any different most days. I will say there a general sense of less stress on the 2 hour show but creatively I didn't find a difference."

Tucker then rounded out by taking a shot at WWE over the Mandy Rose-Otis storyline that just abruptly ended and was forgotten about.

"Yeah or doing a story like Mandy and Otis for months with zero payoff," he added.

Tucker's eight-year run with WWE recently came to an end and he was released by the company on April 15. He spent much of his stint in the company alongside Otis in Heavy Machinery but the tag team was broken up at Hell In A Cell 2020 after Tucker turned on his friend and cost him the Money In The Bank briefcase.

Tucker didn't feud with Otis after the turn, though, and he only made a few more appearances on WWE TV before his release.
