The Undertaker On Not Appearing On WWE SmackDown: "I Was Told I Wasn't Needed"
The Dead Man speaks out...

A handful of noted wrestling legends were advertised for Friday night's WWE SmackDown on FOX premiere, but were nowhere to be seen once the show went live.
Among that collection of icons is The Undertaker,
who posted a photo on his Instagramon Friday to commemorate his advertised appearance. The photo was captioned, "20 years of #Smackdown. Tonight @wweonfox."
After Undertaker failed to appear on the show, he was asked in the Instagram comments by former basketball player-turned-UCLA Bruins analyst Tracy Murray why he was left off of SmackDown.
Undertaker replied to the comment, "I was told I wasn't needed..."
The Undertaker has sporadically appeared on WWE programming throughout 2019, the first year since 2000 in which he did not perform at WrestleMania.
Overall, the 54-year-old wrestling legend has only wrestled twice this year. The first bout was a heavily-criticized match against Bill Goldberg at WWE Super Show-Down in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia back in June. One month later, he and Roman Reigns defeated Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules in Philadelphia.
