Stories of WWE’s locker room are notorious, with numerous tales of superstars being sent to trial in ‘wrestler’s court’ for perceived infractions of locker-room etiquette no matter how minor.

The court itself was headed up by The Undertaker, and has drew criticism for its promotion of hazing and toxic locker-room culture. The Undertaker recently welcomed Kane to his Six Feet Under podcast, with the two discussing Kane’s time as a ‘bailiff’ for the court:

"Obviously, I wasn't involved in any of the prosecutions or any of the actual undertaking of the 'justice' being served," Kane recalled, before noting how on one occasion he was present for a case against writer Brian Gewirtz, who was accused by Bob Holly of being ‘too cosy’ with Edge & Christian "So, I was in charge of keeping order in the courtroom... I didn't really do anything,” added Kane.

The two discussed that the usual way out of court was to offer bottles of Jack Daniels as a gesture of goodwill and apology, but Gewirtz didn’t realise this and apparently launched an impassioned defence:

"Brian didn't know, you know, actually how you survive wrestler's court, which is with Jack Daniels,” added Kane, "Shut up, no, quit. You're making it worse. Just shut up, get him whiskey, say you're sorry, everything will be great.”
