The Miz Sets Grand Slam Record With WWE Title Win At Elimination Chamber 2021
The first-ever WWE two-time Grand Slam Champion!
Feb 22, 2021
The Miz's WWE Championship win at Elimination Chamber 2021 means Mike Mizanin is the first man in the promotion's history to be a two-time Grand Slam champion.
The 40-year-old cashed in his Money In the Bank briefcase and pinned Drew McIntyre at Sunday's pay-per-view to lift his second WWE title, ten years after winning his first against Randy Orton.
With the win, The Miz is the first person in WWE to win all the belts required to be considered a Grand Slam champion twice.
As well as his two WWE Championships, The Miz is an eight-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time United States Champion, and eight-time tag team champion across WWE's various iterations.
Under the revised format, there have been 14 Grand Slam Champions in WWE, which requires a superstar to win a primary championship (either the WWE or Universal title), both the Intercontinental and United States Championships, and a tag-team title too.
The most recent new addition to that list in WWE is Rey Mysterio, after he won the United States title in 2019.
But only man has won them all at least twice...
