"Stone Cold" Steve Austin hasn't appeared on WWE TV since the March 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. On that night, he and Becky Lynch enjoyed many cans of beer while beating up Byron Saxton.

The WWE Hall Of Famer is set to return to WWE TV tonight. FOX Sports announced earlier today that The Texas Rattlesnake will appear on the special Friday Night SmackDown Kickoff Show to celebrate the blue brand's season premiere. He will join co-hosts Michael Cole, Renee Paquette and Booker T on the show. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle will also make an appearance along with three-time MLB World Series Champion David Ortiz.

FOX Sports PR tweeted: ".@WWEonFOX celebrates SmackDown’s season premiere with FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN KICKOFF SHOW - ft. these special guests and more: - 3x World Series Champion @davidortiz - 2xPro Bowler and @49ers standout @gkittle46 - WWE HOFer @steveaustinBSR."

Following the Kickoff Show, multiple titles will be on the line as The Street Profits will defend their newly-swapped SmackDown Tag Team Title against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler, while Roman Reigns will clash with Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship. Daniel Bryan is also set to return to WWE TV, and Lars Sullivan will compete in his first match in over a year against Jeff Hardy. Fans on FOX will, unfortunately, have to say goodbye to The New Day, though, when they face Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro.
