Solo Sikoa's long winless run has finally come to an end.

The Bloodline member probably thought that his victory over John Cena at Crown Jewel on November 4 was going to take his career to the next level, but Solo couldn't buy a victory after knocking off Big Match John in Saudi Arabia. However, during last night's live event in Bologna, Italy, Sikoa was on the winning side of things once more as he and Tama Tonga beat Randy Orton and LA Knight.

Prior to that, the 31-year-old's most recent 41 matches had resulted in 39 losses and two 'no contests'. WWE did not play up Solo Sikoa's unfortunate streak on television, since the majority of these losses took place on non-televised live events.

It is also worth noting that the match in Bologna was also Tama Tonga's first in a WWE ring. The two men will join forces at Backlash France this coming Saturday when they take on Orton and Kevin Owens.

Despite his unfavourable win/loss record, WWE clearly have significant plans for Solo Sikoa. A report last year noted that the company believe he can be a top heel for the next 10 years.
