Following the merger with UFC, WWE are set to hold a tryout filled with independent wrestling talents this week at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The names announced for the tryout are as follows, courtesy of Bodyslam.net:

  • Copeland Barbee - A collegiate wrestler at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
  • Jay Malachi - An independent wrestling talent from the Carolinas. Has competed for AEW in the past.
  • Richard Holliday - A former MLW star and MLW Tag Team Champion. He has competed on the indies since returning to the ring after battling Hodgkin's lymphoma.
  • David Goldy - Product of the Monster Factory and he has competed on AEW Dark. Goldy was recently a part of the NJPW All-Star Junior Festival USA 2023, competing in a dark match.
  • Brogan Finlay - The son of Fit Finlay. He was trained by AR Fox and Finlay has competed on the indies for the likes of GCW, Beyond, AML Wrestling, and Black Label Pro.
  • Jamie Stanley - Has performed for the NWA over the past few years as part of America's Ego with Joe Alonzo.
  • Ray Jaz - Mostly known for wrestling in MLW but he has also worked on the indies for the likes of Beyond and Wrestling Open.
  • Jazmin Allure - Previously appeared on AEW Dark and competed on the indies. She wrestled on WWE SmackDown this year, losing in a squash match to Lacey Evans.
  • Hollyhood Haley J - Has wrestled on AEW Dark in the past. Recently rose to fame as part of Netflix docuseries 'Wrestlers' which focuses on Ohio Valley Wrestling.
  • Kelsey Heather - Recently wrestled for WOW. Performed on AEW Dark earlier this year in a loss to Julia Hart.
  • Valentina Rossi - Worked primarily for AEW between 2021 and 2023. Has also competed for WOW, CCW, and WWE NXT.
  • Madi Wrenkowski - A former NWA Women's World Tag Team Champion, Wrenkowski has also competed for the likes of ROH, MCW, and Mission Pro Wrestling.

PWInsider has also reported that Jessica Roden, who performs as J-Rod, will be part of the WWE tryout. She was trained by Rikishi and Black Pearl and has previously performed on AEW Dark.
