Seth Rollins has offered to train Olympic Gold Medallist Gable Steveson in professional wrestling and 'get him ready' for a career with the WWE.
Steveson, who claimed his Gold Medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in dramatic fashion earlier this month, has previously spoken of his desire to work with WWE once his time in amateur wrestling came to an end.
Rollins, who runs a wrestling school in his hometown of Davenport, Iowa, would be more than willing to work with Steveson to get him ready for a move into sports entertainment in Vince McMahon's promotion.
Speaking to TMZ Sports about Steveson, Rollins said: "I mean, we’d love to have him. He seems like an incredible athlete, and decent dude. And, you know, we’ve had some luck with Olympic gold medallists before, so why not?.
"I do have a wrestling school, Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, so if he wants to move to Davenport, Iowa for three months, we’ll get him ready."
Steveson, who has previously admitted he is also considering careers in MMA, football and potentially going back to college, confirmed earlier this week on social media that he would be in attendance for WWE SummerSlam 2021 this Saturday in Las Vegas.
