Scarlett Reveals Original Plans To Manage Damian Priest In WWE

Scarlett Bordeaux has revealed WWE originally planned for her to manage Damian Priest.

Scarlett was signed by WWE in November 2019 having worked with her real-life partner, Killer Kross, on the independent scene after their respective departures from IMPACT Wrestling.

However, Kross was not signed by WWE until February 2020 and, prior to his arrival in the company, the promotion had different plans for Scarlett.

Bordeaux has revealed the idea was to pair her with Damian Priest, the current WWE Raw United States Champion who was making his own name in NXT at the time.

Speaking during an autograph signing session with ‘Signed By Superstars', Scarlett said: "I don’t know if you know this, but the original plan was for me to manage Damian Priest, because we weren’t sure if Kross was going to be free. Then Kross got signed."

As Kross would eventually join WWE, the two would be paired together and started to appear on NXT television in the following weeks.

Both Kross and Scarlett were released by WWE in November.
