According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, WWE are very happy with the recent performance of Omos.

Johnson writes: "There was a lot of happiness with Omos' performance this past weekend as well, as the feeling was it was one of the best major matches he's ever had."

Omos lost to Seth Rollins at the recent Backlash event in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This was Omos' longest singles match at a WWE premium live event so far, clocking in at just over 10 minutes.

The Nigerian-born Superstar isn't the only member of the locker room said to be impressing WWE recently, as Johnson also explains:

"There was a ton of praise internally for all the work Damian Priest has done in recent months to level himself up, culminating with the San Juan Street Fight this past weekend."

Priest lost the match to Bad Bunny, a bout that featured crowd-popping appearances from Puerto Rican greats Carlito and Savio Vega. Priest's Judgement Day stablemates also involved themselves in the match, as did Rey Mysterio, but these interferences were largely confined to one portion of the bout. The majority of the action featured Priest and Bad Bunny going one-on-one.
