WWE's reported intervention with their talents' third-party platform affiliations looks to be continuing, according to a new update from Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc.

Giri's report claims WWE talents were informed this week that the company will be taking control of their Twitch accounts in four weeks.

As Giri writes, "WWE will own those accounts, however talent will receive a percentage of the revenue, which counts against their downside guarantees."

The report also states that an e-mail issued to talents this week by Vince McMahon, reminding them that they have until Friday, October 2, to sever any unauthorized relationships with third party platforms, lest they be fined, suspended, or terminated for non-compliance.

It was reported close to a month ago that WWE had sent out a letter to their talents, asking them to cease affiliation with third-party media platforms. It was later clarified that talents could keep Twitch and YouTube accounts under their real names, but the talents needed to inform WWE of the accounts' existence.

WWE issued a statement on September 5, saying that the moves are to protect their intellectual properties.
