After over a year at the Performance Center and various ThunderDome locations, WWE will go back on the road beginning with the July 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the company has announced dates through September 6.

With this in mind, WWE has told all talent they are expected to attend in-ring workouts and drills in the coming weeks to prepare them for returning to the road, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. The decision is believed to have been made by Vince McMahon and workouts may begin as early as next week on non-TV taping days.

Multiple Superstars told PWInsider they were looking forward to the drills because it would allow them to get their timing and in-ring work "back to normal." Many wrestlers believe their timing has been "off" for a while, even if there have been no noticeable differences when watching the company's weekly programming.

One talent joked they weren't happy about the training drills being on a day off, but they approved of the decision if it helped WWE get back to normal.
